Age divisions may be tiered rather than clearly defined A & B brackets. That means you may play the teams closest to you more than once and play others above or below. Match ups are based on previous season standings when applicable. Other criteria may include ages of players or newly formed teams verses returning. New teams to the league are always a wild card.
